To be frank, I was once a super fan for Dragon Ball. I started reading this comic (Malay edition) when I was in year 2 primary (8-year-old). I remember back then, I always follow my mom to the market in the morning, shop for groceries. I do not recall why I always follow... should have stay at home and sleep. Anyway, I believe most people would agree with me, market is just a boring, dirty, and smelly place. That was why most of the time instead of following my mom walks around, I would stationed at the book store in the market.
There was once a comic book cover with a dragon and a boy caught my attention, so I picked it up and read. (Dragon is just so cool, and irresistible!) With the first glance of it, I felt deep in love with the comic. The stinky smell just disappeared, dirty environment was ignored and boring-ness became excitement! From that day onwards, I learnt about Dragon Ball (DBZ) and also my addiction of it. I started collecting DBZ cards, comic books, posters, CDs and also the action figures. To the extend, I even learnt how to play Dragon Ball GT's theme song on the piano.
In school, my friends and I would imitate the characters in the DBZ, imitating their actions with super power. Haha, we were kids after all. Out of all the characters in Dragon Ball, I love Vegete (Bezita) the most. At the same time being strong, pride and arrogant, he had his soft side keeping to himself only. That's my childhood with Dragon Ball.
