I was not aware with the Maxis IDD 132 until my dad told me about it previously. They actually offer quite a good low rate for making international calls.
It is rather simple to use, where you just have to dial 132 before the numbers. It is applied to all Maxis users, I am not so sure if it works with Hotlink users as well, it may worth a try.
My dad calls from Malaysia to my United Kingdom land line only cost RM0.20 per-minute! Mobile phone may be slightly more expensive though. It covers a number of countries like Australia, UK, US, China, Singapore & etc...

Kenwooi: u r right. Normal rate is RM0.99. bcoz u r talking abt call to mobile number. But littlecicak is fixed line, i think. call to mobile number is always much expensive than call to fixed link.
Actually Maxis offer a very expensive IDD call rate compare to other service provider. For example, call to Singapore Mobile cost RM0.50 per minute by using Maxis. It cost only RM0.28 by using DiGi. It cost only RM0.20 by using DiGi Chatz. And it cost only RM0.10 by using iTalk. Maybe it WAS true that Maxis offered a cheap IDD call on year 2010, but not now (2011). Thank you very much.
