Petronas Chinese New Year Ad '09

Another good work by Yasmin Ahmad. The previous year, 2008 advertisement is basically a very touching one, ended with a very meaningful phrase "Please go home for reunion dinner, if you can."

This year is calling out all the young adults to appreciate their folks. Do something while they are still around... Happy Chinese New Year.

p/s: If you guys notice, the shooting was made in Ipoh. =)

Geo Challenge Game

Recently I have been addicted in playing this Geo Challenge Game. It is a game that needed you to identify the flag of the countries, geographical landscape, and point out famous landmarks around the world.

It's pretty interesting! Give it a try!

Sleeping Posture Reveals Personality

Actually I had read about this quite some time ago. Anyhow I still find it interesting and I thought some people may have left out this piece of information.

Unknown Covering from Head to Toe
Back Sleeper with Arm Crossed
Back Slepper with Leg Crossed
Unknown Cuddled Up
Side Sleeper Curling Up
Side Sleeper with One Knee Bended
Side Sleeper Lying on One Arm
Side Sleeper Lying on One Side
Arms and Legs Spread Out
Sleeping On the Stomach
I do not know how true are these postures reveal someone's personality, but there are articles supporting it.

Beloved Bomoh Believers

People do not learn, don't you think so? After all these cases were reported and appeared in news, people are still doing it.

"The same man also molested a 21-year-old clerk from Selangor who wanted to restore her virginity after breaking up with her boyfriend recently."

If you were saying they are desperately or unknowingly what to do towards the 'evil voices or spirits' within them, it is still "acceptable-lah". Which I still do not think it is a right choice. But what the hell is this? "restore back the virginity?" such ever nonsense to believe in.

"the parents of a 15-year-old student watched as a bomoh molested the girl during a ritual at their house."

I only thought the young ones do not understand, eventually, the parents too. How great?

Crisis in Gaza: Why is this happening?

As we flip the newspaper, world section, almost the whole paper is all about Israel-Hamas war. There are even sections about 'boycott U.S. products', 'protest in U.S. embassy', 'death toll raising' and etc... But do people really get in details why this happens? Or are we just blindly support and follow what we read in newspaper everyday?

I personally find it is something unavoidable, not anyone can actually get involve or commenting about it. Of course killing normal civilians is unacceptable but that does not mean we can put all blames on Israel. They are also trying to protect their own people and it was a counterattack over Hamas rocket attacks earlier. Who are we to judge who is right or wrong?

For a deeper understanding...

I just hope we, Malaysians get a better understanding over a problem before start judging or determine one's right or wrong.
