Madame Tussauds in Hong Kong

I went for the Madame Tussauds (Wax Museum) during the Hong Kong trip. This is the first time I went to any of the Madame Tussauds, but I am sure I will pay a visit to the one in London when time comes.

When I first entered, the new wax figure, Barack Obama's (44th President of USA) was already set foot in Madame Tussauds in Hong Kong. It is something new, of course you need to pay for the picture that taken with him.

Peak Tower

Wax Museum in Hong Kong is the first and one of the only two Madame Tussauds meseums in Asia, besides the one in Shanghai. It is located at the Peak Tower on Hong Kong Island.

Who I met in Hong Kong?

I believe most people knew I went Macau and Hong Kong last week. Hong Kong is well known as the land of TVB celebrities and meeting them there is never astonishment. But of course it is depending who you get to meet. Well, I personally do not idolise anyone but I find it pretty exciting to see them in real life than what we always see inside the box (TV). I came across a few of them in both Macau and Hong Kong.

In Macau, I only get to met Liu Wai Hung, or better known as 'Ar Chan'. He got spotted gambling in Venetian's Casino! I was on the way down using the elevator and spotted him sitting there gambling. Ar Chan was once quite famous in one of his series. I could not recall what was that series, but I only remember he was eating like 20-30 burgers. Haha. Anyway, he looks really old now. No camera allowed in the Casino, so no picture.

How about Hong Kong?

The first day, after checked in to our rooms in Kowloon Hotel, we were given free drink coupon in the bar-restaurant of the hotel. Guess who we met? Haha... Wong Chi-Wah, Dayo. The main actor of 'Gan Yan Kin' series. He was sitting right at the end of the table, having a drink with one of his friend. When we about to leave, my sister and I went over and asked him for a photograph. Dayo is really skinny as you can see from the picture and he is soft-spoken...! So unlike what we saw in TVB series.

The next day in Citygate Plaza, we saw the filthy rich-single-old-woman in Gem of Life, Melissa! For those who did not watch the show, she is Chan Sau-Chu, Rebecca. No comment, she just walk passed us.

A day before we left Hong Kong, we went to Times Square and saw Yung Cho-Yee, Joey. At last, a young and pretty female celebrity. She was there as ambassador for Reebok. She is really skinny as well and fair, dressed in sports wear. That's all for this trip, not bad hm?
